Subject: You Can Apply On-Line for Parking Now for Sept. 2003 - '04

Parking registration for the 2003-'04 year has begun. From your browser, go to https://commuting.mit.edu and select 'student parking'. Don't forget you need a certificate to use the new on-line system. [Note: incoming residents who don't yet have certificates will be given temporary parking permits when they arrive, and should fill out the online parking form ASAP once they have received their Kerberos IDs]

When you finish providing all your information, press the SUBMIT button and the information will go directly to me, your parking coordinator. I will review your information, and, if everything is correct, I'll submit it to the Parking Office. Your permit should be available the week of September 8, 2003.

If your information is not correct, I will notify you and you can resolve any discrepancies.

To ensure that you will receive your permit on time, please fill out the application as soon as possible, no later than September 2, 2003.

If you want, you can go back anytime and view or print your completed application.

Note: Once the application has been submitted, neither you nor your Parking Coordinator can make changes. You will have to contact the Parking Office at mitparking @ mit.edu, or go to the office at E32-105, or call 617-258-6510.
