Inventory at S-P
S-P offers a wide selection of items that can be checked out at the front desk

Please be respectful of your fellow S-P residents by treating the items with care and honoring their Check Out Time Limit. You will be charged a late fee if you exceed the allowed checkout time. Details about check out time limits can be found here
In order to check out items, both incoming and current residents must sign the S-P Terms of Service. The terms of service will be updated to reflect the following change in policy relating to checking out items:
Beginning September 1, 2005, late fees will no longer be reversed due to incorrect check in times. It is the responsibility of the resident to ensure that their items are checked in immediately and at the correct time by the desk worker.
To help facilitate this, when an item is properly checked in, the screen at the front desk will immediately display a notice to reflect that the transaction is complete. You can also check your account at s-p.mit.edu to make sure the item is no longer checked out in your name.
To avoid receiving unwanted late fees, always hand items directly to the desk worker and do not leave items at the front desk when the desk worker is not present. Do not return items to the security guards who are on duty from midnight to 7:30am as they cannot check in the item and misplaced items can result in large fines.
