JOIN THE HOUSE COUNCIL 2009!
Welcome to the Sidney-Pacific graduate community website!
Below, you will find general information about our community, information about positions on the government (aka House Council) and how you can get involved and live at S-P next year.
Sidney-Pacific is one of the newest and largest graduate residence at MIT, housing 700 students and representing 60 countries from around the world. We organize regular brunches and coffee hours, outings to plays and sporting events, a lecture series with distinguished professors, volunteering opportunities in Cambridge, and the list goes on. All of our events and resources are organized and maintained by a volunteer student government with the help of many enthusiastic residents.
If you are interested in contributing to this community and making it an even better place to live, we encourage you to apply to be an officer. Officers take an active role in enhancing residential life, plus, they get to live at S-P for one year without going through the housing lottery. The application form is available online.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us at spec[at]mit[dot]edu.
