Come hear Jorge talk about the creation and inspiration behind "Piled Higher and Deeper", and answer questions from the audience.
5:30pm-7:00pm - Reception and book signing, Stata Center Student Street (Building 32, first floor)

About the author and the strip:
Jorge Cham escaped with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and is now an Instructor at Caltech.
"Piled higher and Deeper" is the popular comic strip about life (or the lack thereof!) in grad school. Called "Hilarious" by the Chronicle of Higher Education website. "PHD" is published in the Stanford, MIT and Carnegie Mellon newspapers among others and online at www.phdcomics.com where it is read by grad students worldwide."
